Magimix 4200 is a popular machine has more good ratings than bad ones. It is also made from a very well-known manufacturer non-other than magimix itself.

It has been on the market for about 10 years now but the favourite model is the 18426. This is the product we are reviewing on this page.

Magimix 4200 Review

It is a well design and constructed food processor. It’s a robust, quiet, and easy to clean machine. Cleaning is straight forward as most parts are dish washable but on a lower heat setting. Cutting edges are extremely sharp but can be sharpened after if needed.

It’s one of the food processor that you pay for what you get. It is not just a normal food processor it’s an investment but a good one as it’s so durable and you know you will use it for years and years. It’s so practical.

This processor has almost all the conceivable functions and will tolerate years of heavy usage. Spare parts are easily available which is a great and assuring too. The feed tube is great and it’s as large as the one you see in a normal food processor.

Magimix 4200 Customer feedbacks

 

Has made curries, soup, breads and grated cheese with ease

I put in the flower, softened butter, and while it mixes I just add water and it almost instantly form the balls. I quickly turn it off and I thought the pastry wouldn’t be that great as it mixed so quickly but seriously it was fantastic. I was amazed.

Magimix 4200 has a dough blade which is in conjunction with the large bowl and it brought the dough in just 20 seconds. Amazing!!!

So far I’ve made shortbread and bread using the dough blade, brownies, cakes, blended soup and toppings with the main blade, and grated breadcrumbs and cheese, potatoes for Dauphinoise, onions, leeks, carrots, peppers and mushroom.

I don’t really like to stay in the kitchen, but I love magimix 4200 because its parts are easily removed and put in the dishwasher.

Very powerful and robust machine and you can see that it’s cover is made up of good quality plastic.

 

Downsides

It’s quite heavy with its large bowls.

The large bowl take a lot of space in the dishwasher.

It’s a little bit expensive

Blades need to be hand wash as it’s a bit difficult to clean in the corners

Conclusion

It’s a fantastic food processor with power and versatility. From our research we’ve found that most people had great thing to say about that machine and if you in need of a food processor we’ll gladly recommend that magimix 4200. It will be a great investment.
